Las Monedas peluconas (1732-1759)
Las monedas mexicanas de oro acuñadas en este periodo se conocen como peluconas. El nombre se debe a que presentaban en una de sus caras la efigie del Rey con una exuberante peluca, muy de moda en la época.
Tanto los columnarios como las monedas peluconas se caracterizan por sus diseños hermosos y la buena ley de las piezas. Es decir, cierta pureza de los metales en las que estaban hechas las monedas antiguas mexicanas.
En subastas esta moneda, estando en buen estado de conservación, puede llegar a venderse en Aureo y Calicó por 3900 euros, justo como la pieza que acabo de enseñarte antes. Sin dudas una cifra importante, pero que bien lo vale una moneda de oro mexicana tan hermosa.
